Knight: Exploits with (Aspect) or Exploits (Aspect)
Knights are truly skilled with their Aspect, but wrongly fear they are actually useless and just not trying hard enough. So they hide thier perceived failure behind a mental shield in order to appear competent to others.
A Knight of Hope is one who is truly skilled at using possibilities and options, prudence and inaction to their own advantage. when something happens, they are the first to stop everybody from panicking, they use their own calm and relaxed manner to see all the possibilities of what’s happening and they remain calm and inactive and peaceful while others would be panicking in fear. They are skilled at defending and submitting in order to calm down others and make them open up, to see the possibilities and options, to make them think that everything’s fine, it will be alright. They are definitely lovers not fighters and strive to be true pacifists. They strive to be happy and euphoric in all things, to feel calm and peace, to believe in the possibilities that their are others way to handle things rather than fighting. They are the hippies, the people who tame wild beasts by being understanding and loving and gentle. They are the mouse that pulled the thorn from the lions paw. They use their own positivity and trust and faith to inspire others, they use options, inaction and prudence to pacify and calm down enemies. Though they can also exploit the calm, pacifistic nature of others to their own advantage. They fear they are actually not very good at being pacifistic or calming others or getting people to trust them and have that there is more than one way of doing something. They might insecurely believe they are somehow not calm or submissive enough, when really they are. They might be insecure in their abilities to make people submit and open up to them, to make them not act and just relax, to trust and have faith or just in general to bring up the morale of themselves and the party. A Knight’s challenge is to see and be aware that yes, they are in fact trying hard enough and that they are truly good enough and to don’t have to expect perfection from themselves or their abilities. They need to see the effect of their abilities and how they really can affect the world around them. A Knight of Hope is like Jesus pretty much, he always tried to get people to hope and believe in things and be more passive, but even he had his share of insecurity of “Oh God what am I even doing, am I even doing the right thing?” but he never actually failed in his endeavors and his fears are mostly unfounded in the bible’s stories. Did I just seriously classpect Jesus Christ and/or possibly Moses as well now that I think of it. Knights of Hope are unfoundedly insecure prophets, meaning they feel insecure, but they really have no real reason to be.
