The Heir of Hope is one who is said to inherit their faith or godly powers, and also has been known to bend their faith into a weapon. While Knights of Hope tend to be more of paladins, Heirs tend to be Clerics, fighting with their faith instead of for it.
Heirs tend to be somewhat silly at first, and then begin to grow more responsible as their powers grow. This responsibility can prove to be very lethal with Hope players sound faith.
Knight of Hope
The Knight class is an active exploitative class, which means that the Knight actively exploits his/her aspect to benefit him/herself. “Exploit” includes, but is not limited to, weaponization of the aspect and protecting/aiding others with the aspect. In this case, the aspect is Hope, which has to do with hope and the power of belief.

Although it was a pretty slow work night, I spent an hour working on a Ulysses essay and thus kind of melted my brain (it was about the portrayal of women and oooh boy) but I decided I’d get at least one of these done. At least one a day, no matter what. That’s my new goal. Then I’m bound to finish them eventually.
Although the nature of Pages is still somewhat unclear, my guess from what we’ve seen so far is that they’re a supplier class. At their peak, they can give their team their Aspect.
This seems pretty neat, right? A full fledged Page of Light would be able to give his (is it a male dominated class? I can’t remember) or their team Light – which ranges from information to revelation to luck or even, in a pinch, actual light. A Page of Light might be a good mouthpiece, picking up and communicating vital pieces of information to other members of the team. Maybe he’d create some sort of super powerful megaphone or walkie talkie system. As he grew in power, he might even be able to broadcast information directly to them, although I’m not sure how much that might interfere or move more toward other aspects/classes. He might also be able to grant his teammates luck, boosting their stats in a positive way (envision it like bolstering saving throws or casting a group +1). With Light as illumination/revelation, he might be able to ‘clear up’ murky problems or confusing riddles that have perplexed his friends, or even burn away nasty dark influences and corruption. If a Sylph of Light is supposed to guide you to a better state of being, a Page might be able to supply you with the Light to find your own way out. He might also be able to do some sort of light burst/dazzle attack, throwing off large amounts of visible light to confuse or even blind the enemy. In other words, he is totally fabulous. Just don’t look straight at him.
However, while the Page class is powerful, it has drawbacks. First of all, people seem to come after them. Poor Tavros is harassed to the breaking point by Vriska, while Jake fends off hordes of semi-unwelcome suitors. Both are sometimes treated as less than people. Unfortunately, the class also seems to have a generally passive personality, fearing or being unwilling to stand up for themselves or fight back. They also tend to have a low opinion of themselves and their capabilities, partially aided by this harassment. A Page of Light might have people pestering them for information or aid to the point that they feel like they’re only around for what they can offer. They might also fear that even that is worthless – especially if they haven’t come into their full powers – and intentionally obscure themselves in order to avoid the responsibility and subsequent guilt. Every Page must learn to overcome the hurdles created by their personality and relations with other people in order to gain and wield their true powers.
When one thinks of a Seer we tend to imagine someone who gazes into a crystal ball and predicts the future. Oh course, Seers in homestuck are less tacky and more awesome than a woman sitting in scarves on the side of a road (I’m not dissing real life Seers, they’re actually pretty cool, but some of them are super fake and cheesy). Basically a Seer completely and utterly understands their aspect. They are stated as one ‘one who leads and guides with knowledge pertaining to [aspect]’. Seers also appear to have a guideline for SBURB implanted in their mind, and thus are extremely handy to have as they can lead their teammates towards the right path.
Space is the most important aspect to have in a session as without a Space player the Genesis Frog cannot be bred and thus the session is rendered null/void (not sure which term is correct here). Space deals with the physical places around us, and also appears to have something to do with physics (gravity, acceleration, motion, velocity, mass etc). Space players are able to bend the fabric of paradox space to their will, but this power would manifest different depending on what class.
The Seer of Space would have an inherent knowledge of the way the universe works, and can use this to their advantage by guiding their friends towards the outcome which is most successful spacewise. Which I would take to assume means that they will guide their team towards the end which results in the least destruction of Space.
I hope that helped a little bit.
of course!
Mage: Benefits from [aspect] and their knowledge of it.
Mind: Thoughts and decisions of an individual, and the consequences.
The Mage of Mind would know all of the thoughts and decisions of anyone they choose, even if not one of the team members, and the reason behind those decisions. A very powerful player indeed, knowing just what the enemy is going to do in a battle and how you can get around it. They will know everything you’re going to do and how you’re going to do it. If someones planning to kill them, they would be out of there asap. Again, very powerful player!
Hope this helps!
of course!
Knight: One who exploits [aspect], can be used as a weapon to defend others.
Hope: Belief, and actual hope hehe
A Knight of Hope would exploit hope and faith to protect their teammates, using their beliefs in something to make it into an actual object, so they could defeat the enemy that is attacking his or hers teammates! They could be one who keeps everyones hopes up by using, yes, hope to help them, and believing they can keep on going in the game!
hope- hehe - this helps!
